The ‘3-33’ ordeal of the NBA’s bottom feeders continues… The rise of a young ace on the rise

Cunningham is injured.

The Detroit Pistons lost 114-131 against the Denver Nuggets in the 2023-2024 NBA regular season at the Mile High City on Dec. 8 at the Mile High City Ball Arena.

After snapping a grueling 28-game losing streak, Detroit is back in the losing column. The loss was their fourth straight. 카지노사이트 Detroit had been playing much better recently in close games, but they couldn’t do much at the Ball Arena, which is notoriously difficult for visiting teams.

Worse than the losses are the injuries. Ace Cade Cunningham went down with an injury and left the game early, playing just 11 minutes. Cunningham reportedly injured his knee, but there’s no word yet on the exact diagnosis.

The former No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 draft is Detroit’s ace and the team’s future. After missing all of last season, Cunningham has returned this season and is averaging 22.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game.

There have been times when his play hasn’t quite lived up to expectations, but he’s rebounded at some point and has been playing well of late. Prior to the game against Denver, he had scored over 30 points in two straight games while shooting over 57% from the field.

Obviously, it’s not good news that his injury history continues to pile up at such a young age. Cunningham is absolutely needed by Detroit, which is currently at the bottom of the league with a 3-33 record. As if that weren’t bad enough, preseason acquisition Monte Morris has yet to play a game due to injury.

If Cunningham is unfortunate enough to miss some time, Detroit will need the likes of Killian Hayes and Jaylen Ivy to step up. After facing the bad news, Detroit will play back-to-back games against Sacramento on the 10th and San Antonio on the 11th.
