KT Wiz coach Lee Kang-cheol gave his well-wishes to both Park Byeong-ho, who left the team, and Oh Jae-il, who joined the team.

Oh Jae-il is expected to be used as a backup resource for first baseman Moon Sang-cheol.

Moon Sang-cheol is active this year with a batting average of 0.322 (46 hits in 143 at-bats) in 46 games.

Coach Lee said of Oh Jae-il, “He is a scary hitter when the bases are loaded.

He is a player who can hit big things,” and “He is a player who is very good at defense, so I hope he has a good season with Sang-cheol.”

Jae-il Oh, who signed a four-year contract worth up to 5 billion won with Samsung after the 2020 season, is in the last season under the contract.
