Buchanan wins 10 games for the fourth consecutive year, while Jae-il hits 10 home runs for the 9th consecutive season, leading to a Samsung and Doosan sweep
The Samsung Lions defeated the Doosan Bears behind David Buchanan no-hitter and a two-run double by Oh Jae-il.
Samsung defeated Doosan 5-1 in the first game of a doubleheader at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, South Korea, on Monday for the visiting Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League 2023.
One of the key contributors to the victory was foreign starter Buchanan.
Buchanan pitched eight innings of one-run ball with seven hits and one walk to earn his 10th win of the season.
