Ahn Se-young wins second straight Korea Open title, first in 29 years

South Korean women’s badminton standout Ahn Se-young has become the first South Korean player in 29 years to win back-to-back titles at the Korea Open Badminton Championships. Ahn defeated Chinese 토토사이트 Taipei’s Tai Tzu-ying, ranked fourth in the world, 2-0 in the women’s singles final today (March 23) in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province. It is the first time in 29 years that a South Korean player has won back-to-back women’s singles titles since Hwang Soo-hyun, who won in 1993 and the following year.
